I am completely obsessed with their carne asada fries!!! And have been since I was in middle school. Every San Diegan has their go to taco shop and this one is mine!

This is our go to Mexican food restaurant. I call it that even though it is a Taco Shop the food quality is better than most sit down Mexican restaurants. This family run business makes it a joy to visit with faces and warm personalities. If you're looking for a place to pick up a fast meal or a great breakfast or go to burrito don't hesitate to stop by Nachos Taco Shop

Absolute BEST bean and cheese burrito in San Diego!! This place never disappoints. My husband loves their chimichanga!

Food is soooo good every time! Big portions and they are not shy either the meat I always look forward to getting my lunch here. Very friendly staff :)

First time here. Got a steak and egg with sour cream which is a favorite for me. It was delicious. The steak really stood out. Tasted high quality and it was cooked with a delicious char. The building is on the corner with big windows. Good for relaxing and people/car watching as you eat. The service was great. I would absolutely return here.

This is the best taco shop I've been to. They food is consistently good, and I've eaten there at all hours of the day. They don't have a single cook in there that is lacking, they all seem to put the same effort and energy into the food. The meat quality is excellent, and the disbursement of ingredients is perfect (how many times have you had a burrito with a "guacamole patch" and dry through the rest? Not here.) I cannot say enough nice things about the staff, they are all really cool and kind people. They make your food quickly without taking any shortcuts which I appreciate. I'm at the point where I won't go anywhere else unless I'm too far from Nacho. Thankfully, this is my local taco shop! Nacho for life!

Monster Burrito, full days meal. I went in hungry, and shamelessly polished off the Carnitas, Bean and Cheese that they rolled me. Barely made it, but with the excellent Salsa it all went down

This taco shop is right on the corner of University Ave in La Mesa, and is a convenient drive thru option. Pros: Friendly service that's appreciative of customers, ADA accessible seating, outdoor patio, few parking spots but mostly street parking, decent food. Staff is friendly and everything is made to order

Solid spot. Good fish taco. Tasted like it had some chipotle sauce on it with the tartar sauce. Descent carne asada. Good red and green salsa. They pre mix their onions with cilantro so you can't have cilantro if you order no onions. Nice crew and drive through is convenient but took a little bit longer than expected. It's the closest taco shop near me after I recently moved so will be wanting to try more items. Wish they would open late for those type of nights but they are a regular hours business.

I drove by this taco shop a bunch of times and finally had time to stop by and eat here . I had a bean and cheese burrito and boy was it delicious! I highly recommend their bean and cheese burrito. It is very fresh and a good size. The customer service was top notch and the taco shop is clean and adorable.
